Montserrate

Atop Bogotá's tutelary hill, the seventeenth-century church crowns Montserrate, venerated for its Fallen Lord image. Pilgrims climb the hill, often on foot, to seek mercy or give thanks. The Sanctuary houses the XVI century carved Fallen Lord by Pedro de Lugo y Albarracín.
